The Doll Test.  They redo this every so often, and the results remain the same.  The person who screams a slur at you is an obvious threat, but when the whole world keeps telling you that you don’t matter, and showing you that you don’t matter, that’s the poison that sinks in.

One of the best tricks is getting people to believe the battle is on a single front - “Oh this doesn’t matter because X matters more” - actually it all matters- day to day survival, food and health care matters, legal rights, protection and laws matter, media narratives that inform how people act matter, your personal choices and way of thinking matters.
