.... If someone disagrees with your opinion then who cares? If they wanna compare abortion to genocide then oh well....Just because you go to Clemson and are about to graduate doesn't mean you know everything or have the right to be pushy with your opinions... I'm just sayin...

If someone disagrees with my opinion? Who cares, well, my darling unknown, as soon as they want their opinion to be in legislation, I care. Particularly when that legislation concerns my well-being. And particularly when that legislation leads to death.

“If they want to compare abortion to genocide oh well… ” No. Not OH WELL. No I will not put up with that absolutely privileged bull shit. First of all, she and the video didn’t compare abortion to genocide exclusively but specifically the holocaust. so you’re “JUST SAYING” that a horrible regime rounding up groups that it disliked, that it thought were not “pure” and taking away their rights slowly, their money, their jobs, their houses, then putting them in concentration camps, torturing them, starving them, and killing them… that this systematic oppression and destruction is anywhere NEAR comparable to a medical procedure chosen by an individual woman that will often SAVE HER LIFE? “I’m just sayin…” if you think that, then fuck off.

Please point out where I said that I know everything. I don’t, but the reason I was able to so succinctly tear down her logical reasoning is because I have been LUCKY enough to have the experience of a great education and the thirst to learn more out of the classroom. I am learning new things every day.

And being pushy with your opinions is telling someone that they should eat peanut butter because it is your favorite and then knocking their sandwich out of their hand.

Debunking myths, lies, propaganda and faulty logic is not “being pushy with my opinions.”

Too bad you had to do this on anon or I might have felt a little more cordial.

Now because the majority of abortions are performed in the first trimester, if you’re going to get an ultrasound image, as the Virginia law requires, the law states, basically, that any woman seeking to have a legal procedure known as an abortion, whether she wants to or not, first lay back in a chair, spread her legs, (put her) feet in stirrups, and have an eight- to ten-inch wand put inside her — even if the woman in question is pregnant as the result of a rape.

I don’t really have a joke here. I just thought I’d tell you.

JON STEWART, on Virginia’s inhumane, inhuman and shameful “personhood” law that requires women wanting to get an abortion to, in essence, be subject to rape, on The Daily Show (via inothernews)

this actually makes me want to cry.
