I blame the sunburn on my back.

Derek and I went to lunch at the Tomato Shed. It was awesome, and good to catch up after his vacation. His birthday is on Wednesday :)

I would have hung out but I was so so so tired, after lunch I passed out. Blah!

But I got a few travel documentaries and books. I’m of course taking any recs. I already watch travel channel-type shows for fun, so if anyone has anything specifically on Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, The Loire, France, French History, Europe, or your favorite European city, I’ll check it out :)

I’m also working on my google maps of Nantes. I love this google feature because I like to be able to look at the spacing of a place, and how to get to places I’m interested in visiting. 

It also seems like the only other person I found on tumblr who is going to Nantes is living in my area. And I suppose this means the only other person I’ve heard of in my program (ISEP) from facebook has gotten her assignment, too. 

I really hope they have a gathering for the international students to meet up!

So now, dinner: portabello burger and corn on the cob and a BBC show on Paris (the host is from Nantes!!).
